Simon Evans
A c-suite director and leader with over 35 years experience in the construction, housing and property development industries, Simon is particularly renowned for providing exceptional project management for luxury residences. His depth of experience in the housing industry is second to none and includes 15 years as COO for the award-winning, luxury holiday home development, The Lakes by YOO.
Simon combines strong leadership, team management and excellent negotiation skills to achieve high returns for investors with the highest levels of customer satisfaction at each stage. With an eye for detail and perfection, he specialises in adding value to property assets, either through planning gain or entrepreneurial marketing innovation.
Simon will completely understand your vision and will act on your behalf to ensure your luxury property projects progress as smoothly as possible. His excellent track record of delivering all project facets on time and to budget reflects his solid financial management, broad management experience and ability to harness great working relationships between diverse teams.
Since departing The Lakes by Yoo, Simon has partnered with Draycott Chartered Surveyors, managing luxury residential projects in Hampshire and the New Forest. With Draycott maintaining focus on their traditional building surveying and planning services, he is now providing a completely independent luxury property project management service, uniquely concentrating in the New Forest National Park and surrounding areas. Simon continues to work very closely with Draycott Chartered Surveyors, complementing each other’s services whenever required by our clients.
Simon is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building and a member of the Livery Company of Carmen and is a Freeman of the City of London.
Lloyd Ellis
Project Manager
Lloyd has worked in construction for over a decade and has extensive experience in commercial, healthcare and residential construction with budgets ranging from £100k to £12m in value. He enjoys being involved in a project right from the very start and seeing it through to completion.
Lloyd has a particular interest in timber frame buildings and structural insulated panels due to their strengths in sustainability, off-site manufacturing and speed of installation.
Alan Roberts
Project Manager
Alan is a construction professional with a significant track record managing high-end residential developments and commercial properties. A proven project manager and technical design coordinator, Alan’s portfolio includes award-winning The Lakes by YOO; an £18m historical residential development rebuild in Portugal and the refurbishment of Grade II listed residences (£8-14m). He has extensive experience working on high-end bespoke refurbishments for private clients, with a particular passion for regenerating and developing listed buildings.
George Millward
Quantity Surveyor
George is a highly experienced and motivated Quantity Surveyor and Estimator with over 40 years of wide-ranging experience across the commercial and residential property development industry. Commercially and contractually aware, George excels at communicating effectively both on-site with contractors and at management level.
George’s valuable experience on projects ranges from £500k to over £7m in value, with involvement in all pre- and post-contract duties.
Luke Smith
Project Manager
Before transitioning into building and construction projects, Luke spent over 20 years producing large-scale global events in Dubai. Upon relocating to the UK with his family in 2017, Luke applied his management and coordination skills to property development and building renovations through his partnership in Oaken Developments. His experience encompasses a wide range of construction projects, from listed renovations to new build developments, with values ranging from £500,000 to £4 million.
With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines, Luke takes a solutions-based approach to all his projects. He enjoys collaborating with clients and contractors to deliver exceptional projects that exceed expectations.
